Short answer: Holidaypac's minimum order for custom cardboard displays is 200 pieces per design. You get a quote within 24 hours, a printed sample 3–5 days after artwork confirmation, and bulk production in 15–20 days. This guide walks through each step of the timeline so you can plan backwards from your in-store date and never miss a promotion window.
If you are mainly comparing prices, read our companion guide, How Much Does a Custom Cardboard Display Cost? This article focuses on the two questions that decide whether a project is possible at all: how many do I have to order, and how long will it take.
Every custom display needs its own cutting die, printing setup, and machine calibration. Those setup costs are the same whether we run 50 pieces or 5,000. A 200-piece minimum keeps the unit price reasonable while still letting brands run a small test program — a regional launch, a single retail partner, or a trade show — before committing to a national rollout.
At 200 pieces, a typical display such as our cardboard counter display box for tea lands at a little over US$20 per unit. As quantities grow, the setup cost is spread further and the unit price falls toward the lower end of our US$10–30 range.
Tip: if you plan to roll out in stages, tell us your expected total volume when you ask for a quote. We can price the first run with the full program in mind.
Here is how a typical Holidaypac display project runs, from first email to finished goods.

Add up the factory steps and most projects need roughly five to six weeks from quote to finished goods, plus ocean transit to your destination. The biggest variable is usually artwork approval on the buyer's side, not production.
Watch the calendar. Spring, Easter, and Mother's Day resets are planned months ahead, and factories in China slow down around the Lunar New Year holiday. Brands that start sampling in the fourth quarter have the most room to adjust designs and still hit first-half promotions.
Seasonal programs like our red Lunar New Year pallet display are a good example: the in-store date is fixed, so every step above is scheduled backwards from it.
Need help choosing a format? Our counter display range, including hanging eyewear counter display racks, uses proven structures that move quickly from sample to production.

Holidaypac's factories are held to EUDR and PPWR requirements and work with FSC-certified board, alongside BRC, BSCI, SGS, ISO, SEDEX, and FDA certifications. That means compliance paperwork does not become a last-minute delay for displays shipped into Europe or to major retailers. Learn more in our article on why FSC certification is the new standard for sustainable packaging.

The minimum order is 200 pieces per display design. At 200 pieces, a typical custom cardboard display costs a little over US$20 per unit, and the price drops as quantity increases.
A printed sample is ready 3–5 days after your artwork is confirmed, then ships by express. A blank (unprinted) structural sample is free; you only pay the express freight.
There is a sample fee for printed samples, but it is fully refunded when you place your production order, so sampling is effectively free.
Bulk production takes 15–20 days after the printed sample is approved and the deposit is received. Ocean transit time depends on the destination port.
Standard terms are a 30% deposit to start production and the 70% balance before shipment.
We usually reply with a price within 24 hours once we have your product size and weight, display type, and target quantity.
