How Rectangular Air Fryer Paper Liners Are Formed: Pleated Sides and Stack Checks

Holidaypac Oct 23,2026

Short answer: A formed rectangular air fryer paper liner is a paper piece shaped into a tray with raised, pleated sides. In the Holidaypac workshop photos below, shaped pieces move along a conveyor, operators handle them by hand, and nested stacks are checked at the worktable. For a custom order, approve both an individual formed sample and a packed stack against your own dimensions and material specification.

This photo guide focuses on what the pleated shape and nested stacks let a buyer inspect. It complements our broader disposable air fryer liner production checklist and the air fryer liner product range.

What do the forming-line photos show?

The wide workshop view shows multiple forming stations beside a conveyor. The equipment layout gives buyers a clear view of where shaped pieces are formed and handled.

For a buyer's drawing, specify the liner's base size, top opening, side height and corner shape separately. A single nominal “size” can hide differences in fit.

Pieces moving on the conveyor can be compared for their visible sidewall and corner shape. For the order specification, record the exact paper grade, coating, formed dimensions and applicable food-contact documents alongside the approved sample.

Why are the sides pleated?

Holidaypac: Close view of a formed liner and nested stacks with folded sidewalls.

The folds allow a flat paper shape to form a raised wall around a rectangular base. The close view shows how the corners and rims meet. When approving a sample, look for split edges, distorted corners, uneven folds and an opening that differs from the agreed drawing.

Confirm leak resistance, release performance and temperature requirements against the proposed material and the applicable product test documents.

For deep or shallow tray designs, test a sample in the intended appliance basket. Compare the liner's base, upper opening and wall height with the buyer-approved fit drawing. Keep appliance compatibility claims tied to the model and measurements actually tested.

What should buyers check in a nested stack?

Holidaypac: Manual handling of formed brown paper pieces.

Take pieces from the top, middle and bottom of a sample stack. Separate them by hand and check that rims remain intact and corners do not flatten or snag. Compare the pieces after separation, not just the neat appearance of the full stack.

Then approve the actual retail count, wrapping method and outer-carton arrangement. Stacking efficiency alone does not prove that the pieces will arrive without compression damage.

Ask for an approved packed sample as well as an approved single piece. This is especially useful when the brand uses an automated packing or dispensing line: test separation and feeding with the final pack format before confirming bulk production.

What can be checked before bulk approval?

These views show people handling large brown sheets or blanks near equipment. To make sample approval measurable, buyers can request a dimensional drawing, a retained sample, the exact material specification and a written list of acceptable cosmetic and forming defects.

For a repeat order, refer back to the same approved shape and pack sample. Specify how changes to paper, sidewall, corners, printing or pack quantity will be reviewed. Photos help explain the process; the approved samples and documents define the order.

Frequently asked questions

Does the photograph prove that these liners are food safe or heat resistant?

No. A photograph cannot establish material composition, food-contact suitability or temperature limits. Ask for specifications and documents covering the exact liner proposed for your order.

Why inspect a full stack as well as a single liner?

A single piece can look correct while nested pieces catch, flatten or deform during separation. Checking pieces from several stack positions helps reveal handling issues before approving a pack.

Can the factory customize rectangular air fryer liners?

Holidaypac offers custom paper packaging and air fryer liner sourcing discussions. Share a drawing, intended appliance fit, pack count and required documents so feasibility can be confirmed for the specific project.

For a project discussion, start with the Holidaypac air fryer liner range and send the dimensions and sample requirements you want checked.
